A Message From Us: How We're Navigating Rising Costs

We know things feel a bit heavy out there lately, and we're feeling it too. Instead of just passing on rising costs, we've been busy behind the scenes finding ways to keep our plantbased pantry staples accessible without compromising on what you love.

What we're doing for you:

  • Hands-on Care — We're personally reviewing every online order to find the most cost-effective, reliable carrier for your delivery.
  • Cafe Quality — We're finding ways to keep cafe costs down without resorting to "shrinkflation." You'll still get the same generous serves you expect.
  • Going Local & Smarter Shipping — We're sourcing more local products than ever to support our community, reduce food miles, and keep freight costs down so we can hold our prices as steady as possible.

We're proud to support New Zealand-made products and the local businesses behind them. If you'd like to explore what we have on offer, check out our Proudly NZ Made collection — a curated range of homegrown goodness we're excited to share with you.

It will take a few weeks to get everything perfectly synced with our suppliers, so we appreciate your patience while we get products back on the shelves and online.

How you can help (if you'd like to!):

We've had a few of you ask how you can support us during this transition. Honestly, the best way is simply to keep us in mind. Whether it's popping in for a coffee, grabbing a pantry staple, or even just sharing our posts with a friend — every little bit helps us keep the lights on and the prices fair while we work through these changes.

A bright spot ahead:

We have an exciting new chapter just around the corner! It's going to give you even more opportunities to shop and dine with us as we move into our winter hours. Keep an eye out for the big reveal soon.

Thank you for sticking with us — we couldn't do this without your support.

Ngā mihi,
Garry & Tony
